New Turning Device for Corrugated Bundles
EAM-Mosca Corporation is pleased to introduce the BT-54 Turn Post Conveyor for rotating corrugated box bundles.
The unit provides an economical and convenient solution for orienting bundles to be strapped either aligned with or across the flutes, to meet varied customer specifications.
The BT-54 is a 54″ long by 48″ wide variable speed powered roller conveyor with a dual roller turn-post. Each individual turn-post is easily adjustable and supported by a beam mounted above the conveyor. The dual roller post design provides consistent 90 degree bundle rotation, regardless of bundle size or surface characteristics. When rotation is not required, the turning posts are loosened and moved out of the path of incoming bundles which can then be strapped as released from the converting machine.
Throughput speed can vary with bundle characteristics but the BT-54 typically is able to keep pace with the fastest available converting equipment and associated strapping systems.
The device is designed to operate with Mosca’s TR5C-SQ2 bundling/squaring system or can be integrated into a production line as a stand-alone machine to orient bundles in a preferred direction and is designed to handle bundle size of 40″ in the direction of flow and 56″ across.
