FROM MOSCA

As a technology leader in the strapping industry, we have been developing our machines and strapping materials for decades with the aim of offering high-quality solutions for a wide range of requirements and applications. Many of our innovations are now established as industry standards.

Our innovation strength allows us to consistently offer you the highest MOSCA quality in three machine classes, precisely tailored to your needs – from manual to fully automated operation and as stand-alone or interlinked machines. Our machine class III ensures that you are fully equipped for the networked factory of tomorrow.

A FOCUS ON TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS

For over 50 years, Mosca’s emphasis on technological advances as a critical driver of innovation has steadily improved environmental equipment efficiency.

KEY INITIATIVES:

  • Since the early 1990s, using wear-free direct drives to replace mechanical systems.

  • Developing a unique emission-free, powered on-demand ultrasonic welding system for strapping.

  • Offering electric press drives to replace energy-intensive, noisier hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Developing equipment that, under operating efficiency and seal strength, offers users the opportunity to reduce strap size without loss of package integrity, saving material costs, and natural resources.

SONIXS TECHNOLOGY
ULTRASONIC SEALING

Increase Flexibility, Lower Overhead Costs

Unlike heat seal systems, SoniXs® strap seals are made without the use of high-temperature components, reducing energy costs, improving safety, and generating lower emissions. The process-controlled system is operator-friendly, requiring minimal maintenance and reduced parts usage. Using ultrasonic sealing has also given our customers the ability to use PET in bundling applications, giving increased flexibility when it comes to a more sustainable plastic strap choice.

SQUARING BUNDLER INNOVATION
The MAX-Q SoniXs

The MAX-Q SoniXs® fully enclosed squaring and strapping system simultaneously squares and straps two bundles while keeping them together upon exiting a box slitter, gaining bundle control while also dramatically increasing throughput.

With its unique curtain conveyor, the system boasts a compact 84.2” line length, a 48% line length reduction, and 74% reduced transit distance of unstrapped bundles compared to the SQ4 Tandem System.

SUSTAINABLE STRAPPING MATERIALS

Our PET strapping consists of up to 100% recyclable materials, manufactured from both pre- and post-consumer recycled PET material, making it a great environmentally friendly choice. It’s especially beneficial for use with our proprietary SoniXs ultrasonic sealing configuration, which seals completely and reliably.
