New Speed Achievements in Squaring-Strapping System
July 15, 2013 – Hazle Township, PA – EAM-Mosca Corporation is pleased to announce its new TR5C-SQ-2 integrated squaring-strapping system is capable of handling 24 bundles/minute in a single installation and a unprecedented 24 – 36 bundles/minute when configured as a full tandem system with pacing conveyors and controls. According to Wright, the company’s new TR5C-SQ-2 fully automatic squaring and strapping system is a simple, effective unit built on the highly reliable TR5-C platform that dramatically improves bundle quality without the cost or complexity of a specialized squaring system. The latest generation, introduced at SuperCorr Expo in October, features optional dual strapping coils and automatic coil changeover. New, intelligent options allow for Ethernet control and powered backstop adjustments. Especially designed to handle the speed, bundle size and performance requirements of the newest Flexos in high production environments, the new bundler is available with Mosca’s standard heat seal proven in thousands of systems worldwide; or, the innovative Sonixs ultrasonic sealer. Both systems feature reliable DC brushless motors and quick, easy tool-less access to the strap path and sealer area for maintenance.
