How do you determine the proper number of straps per package?

The size and weight of the product to be strapped, and the break strength of the strapping determines the number of straps required. Each type of strap has a stated maximum verified break strength. The regional sales manager will discuss and recommend the best and most efficient strapping for your application.

What are the different types of plastic strapping?

We manufacture embossed Polypropylene (PP) strapping typically used to strap lighter bundled products and Polyester (PET) machine grade strapping typically used for strapping heavier products, pallet loads, and shipping units.

Can I use plastic strapping in place of steel?

In some cases, you can use plastic strapping in place of steel strapping. The application might typically require a wider 12 – 15mm Polyester (PET) strap, which has a higher break strength and stiffer quality for strapping and stabilizing heavy products, shipping units, and pallets.
