Seafood Expo Postponed Due to COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, the 40th edition of Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America will not take place as scheduled in March. Unfortunately, this means we won’t be seeing you next week in Boston. However, we’re still available to talk about how we can help with your end-of-line strapping solutions, whether you’re adding or replacing equipment in a harsh, wet environment, or a dry, temperate facility.
Protection against the harshest environments
For the best defense against rust and wear, our stainless-steel equipment is built to the highest-rated protection in the industry. The washdown tolerance of the 4VA stainless steel machine body and arch, combined with the IP56 category rating, means our machines will confidently run in your facility for many years to come.
Ingress Protection or IP rating is a standard to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies like dust as well as moisture. The first digit indicates the degree of protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies. The second digit defines the protection level that the enclosure can withstand from various forms of moisture like drips, sprays, and submersion.
Solutions for superior performance
Mosca’s ROMS6-VA-Sonixs side sealing strapping machine prevents water and debris from falling into the sealing mechanism preventing jamming issues and poor performance to keep up with production demands.
The ROMP6R-VA-Sonixs bottom sealer is equipped with a powered roller conveyor for lines that transport boxes or totes in cold or harsh wet environments, while the ROMP6-VA-Sonixs walk-up operator-cycled full stainless-steel body is perfect for lower production.
All of our stainless-steel strapping machines come with a stainless-steel version of Mosca’s proprietary Sonixs ultrasonic sealer for superior seal performance in harsh conditions. For more information, please visit our Sonixs technology page.
